Construction
A stair tread consists of three components: the grating infill (serrated bar grating, typically 25×5mm @ 30mm pitch), a welded perimeter frame (75×50×6mm or 100×50×6mm channel), and an anti-slip nosing on the front edge (abrasive material or extruded aluminum).
The frame is recessed below the tread surface to match existing stair stringers. Fixing holes are pre-drilled at factory to the customer's stringer drawing.
